  • Let’s remember the joy and power of writing and connecting to ourselves.  With the help of a prompt or two, a teaspoon of creativity, and whole lot of your authentic self we get back to having fun with writing content.

    Please have either a pen and paper or your device for notetaking

    Breakout Room #2 with Christa De Ridder:  The Art of Mindful Eating

  • Mindful eating is a practice that slows us down in eating, enhances the experience of eating, and can transform our relationship with food. The participants will experience the practice of mindful eating through listening to a unique reading on this topic while engaging in a practice of visualization. This exercise is a fun and unique take on mindful eating and will leave the participants intrigued and inspired!

    Sometimes it just takes paying attention to what is happening in the present moment to notice the joy that has always been available to us. In this mindfulness-based movement practice, we’ll explore the pleasant sensations that can arise in our bodies when we move with curiosity, playfulness and care. 

    This session is accessible to all levels. No props necessary.

           Let’s share and understand what limits us from expressing our joy or allowing ourselves to experience joy.  
           Together we explore self-compassion; what it is, how it relates to joy and a mini practice to connect with encouraging and allowing           more joy in our lives.
